The WCESC has the capability of performing background checks via fingerprinting using WebCheck. Information submitted electronically to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation for processing and results for the following items.
- BCI Report Only
- FBI Report Only
- BCI/FBI Reports
Note: If you already have copies of your BCI/FBI reports and the completion date on both reports are with 365 days of being hired by the SWOCOG, these will be accepted.

Present your Driver’s License/Photo ID at time of service.
BCI/FBI reports are sent to Ohio Department of Education & Workforce electronically to be placed on your OH|ID account, which is the only way ODEW will accept BCI/FBI reports. ODE will not share the person’s BCI/FBI report with anyone after receiving them.
NOTE: Sometimes a person’s BCI report and/or FBI reports(s) are mailed. This can take up to 30 days or more days for WCESC to receive the person’s mailed reports(s). The person will not be hired by the SWOCOG until both reports have been received.
