If you are a substitute teacher resigning from your position with the Southwest Ohio Council of Governments (SWOCOG), please follow the steps outlined below to ensure a smooth transition:
Initiate Resignation Process
-Contact an HR Specialist via email to notify them of your intent to resign:
Complete the Resignation Form
-You will receive an email from NoReplyCogSubs with a link to the resignation form.
-Click the “Resignation Link” in the email and complete the required form.
-If you do not receive the email, please email one of the HR Specialists.
Resigning to Withdraw STRS Funds? Please Follow the Steps Below
If you are resigning with the intent to withdraw your STRS (State Teachers Retirement System) funds, please review the following information carefully:
-Contact STRS: Phone: 888-227-7877 Call STRS to obtain information on how to withdraw your STRS funds and to learn about the required waiting period before you can return to work.
-Important for Non-Retired Employees: A 60-day waiting period is required before returning to work. Returning before this period is complete will result in the cancellation of your disbursement.
